Our Story
Grown in the delta.
Woven by hand.
"The most honest material we know — it leaves the earth as easily as it came."
Est. Bengal
The fibre
The golden fibre of Bengal.
For over a century, jute — the golden fibre — filled the mills along the Hooghly. It clothed a region and moved its harvests. We start Javie here, with the material we know best, and treat it not as packaging but as something worth carrying every day.

The making
Finished by hand, made to last.
Every bag is woven from raw jute, structured, and finished by hand. Reinforced bases, honest stitching, natural and dyed fibres. Built to soften with use, not wear out — and to return to the earth when its long life is done.
